Gratitude Challenge! Day 2

Your Life Is AwesomeJenna Soard

Yesterday, I was nominated by my brave and talented friend Jenna Soard, to share a list of 3 things that I am grateful for over 5 days. Thanks again Jenna for your inspiration!

Today is Day 2.

I felt this list rising in me really late last night and my heart swells as I type these words again: My gratitude is underlined in the paragraphs below and listed below that:

There are some days when I am so exhausted from work that I have to take a nap.

When I wake from that nap I’ll have a burst of inspiration that carries me into more research, notes or writing projects in new areas I was never expecting to enter.

When asked about what I do for a living. Its hard to give just one answer. Because I am lots of things to many people.

And It’s not really just a job I do to get paid. Most of the time I feel like there is this higher force of compassion and intelligence that is working through me, guiding and directing my body to accomplish the tasks at hand. And I am just the conduit by which this directive is to be completed.

I feel like I am working on my Masterpiece. I feel and I know God. Every single day. It’s so staggeringly REAL and intense and scary sometimes but I remain forever grateful and blessed to be the conduit for this force of LIFE and continue to stay on course with focus, healthy drive and clear determination.

I am grateful for:

One: Naps. And for having the courage and faith to know that my drive, passion and talent will not only remain  after my nap/break/playtime is finished but is also strengthened by this small gift of self compassion.

Two: For knowing how to trust myself, body, heart, mind and soul on my life’s journey, every step of the way. I remain open to hearing, feeling and just knowing exactly what I am supposed to do next.

Three: For the knowledge that I am indeed working on my Masterpiece in this lifetime. I am in the process of transforming the pain and the strife from my own human experience into something that is both beautiful and useful for all of us. Because we deserve to be happy and to receive a reward for surviving the BS in this world. This is my gift to myself and my gift to you.

Powerful stuff and I am honored to be able to share this with you 🙂

If your reading this, then I challenge you to a 5 day run of gratitude in your life! The rules are simple:

5 days

Each day a new list of 3 things you are grateful for in your body, your business and your life!

List them in the comments below along with me! Your grateful energy will help trigger the self compassion in someone else and return to you ten fold! Start the chain of gratitude here!

I’ll see you tomorrow with more of my own gratitude!

I am grateful to be able to wake up each morning, and touch the floor and choose my attitude for the day
I am grateful to have been able to work for two clients today, so I was able to put money in the bank to pay my bills.
I am grateful to have been able to attend a meeting this morning, complete my job, take a nap and make it to my 5:30, having made my car payment……
