Gratitude Challenge! Day 3

Your Life Is AwesomeOn Tuesday, I was nominated to share a list of 3 things that I am grateful for over 5 days.

Today is Day 3.

Check below for my list for today!

Today I am grateful for

One: Every single one of my hard working and dedicated students! I am lucky to be working with talented, highly motivated, healthy people who are making a profound improvement in their lives! They are doing an awesome job sharing what they learn in our sessions with the world in their own unique way!

Two: For the high level of trust that is given to me by my students everyday.  I watch each of you do so many amazing things and have so many profound breakthroughs and none of it would be possible without our mutual trust and respect for one another. This is a true gift and I am humbled by this everyday. Your faith and your courage is a constant inspiration.

Three: For Olive Garden’s endless pasta bowl. It comes only once a year and reminds me of when I was still waiting tables in New York City.  After work, all of us would head over there and have a family meal and leave the server a small fortune in tips. Its small, its really simple but this restaurant reminds me of autumn and community and the crazy awesome people I worked with in Times Square. I miss you folks…and the biscuits 😉

Well thats it from me for today!

If your reading this, then I challenge you to a 5 day run of gratitude in your life! The rules are simple:

5 days

Each day a new list of 3 things you are grateful for in your body, your business and your life!

List them in the comments below along with me! Your grateful energy will help trigger the self compassion in someone else and return to you ten fold! Start the chain of gratitude here!

I’ll see you tomorrow with more of my own gratitude!

I am glad to hear that you are becoming stronger Jeff. I encourage you to continue to take excellent care of yourself in body, mind and spirit.

A great way to enhance this process is to be actively conscious of what you consume daily. And I am not just talking about food either, I am talking about what you watch on television, the music you listen to, the books, blogs and papers you read and the people you hang around.

I am very cognizant of what is going on around me and what kinds of energy I am welcoming into my life. I find that anyone who tells me that “I can’t” or that “I should be afraid” do or be something is usually hiding an agenda of destruction, conscious or otherwise.

I walk away from anyone and anything that goes out if its way to instill fear or doubt. Ain’t nobody got time for that!

The people, places and things that you spend the most time with can have a lasting effect on your whole existence and maintaining healthy relationships with those with whom you share a mutual kindness and respect is a powerful act of self compassion.

Awesome Jeff! Keep up the great work! 🙂

We certainly haven’t cqoeunred it, but during evening prayers, I try to have everyone come up with something from the day they were grateful for. My sister taught me this years ago, saying that some days, the best she can come up with is being thankful for clean underwear, but its something! 🙂
