Hey there Awesome Lifer!
I hope your week has been a spectacular one! Mine has been a series of eye opening days as I’ve been doing some deep writing designed to help open up my subconscious and reveal what I am really feeling about it all. This work has blossomed into several major revelations in my business and my life. My heart has been flooded with my old friends: dream and desire and I am experiencing moments of real joy and peace.
Today I would like to show you one of my exercises so that you can find some peace too 🙂 If you have ever had one on one coaching with me you know what I am talking about and how powerful and healing it can be.
What you’ll need:
- A Pen
- Some Paper
- All the things that are bothering you
- A Clear, Uncluttered Space to work
Optional: Your favorite soft beverage (coffee, tea, water ect.)
When you are all prepared write the date on the top of the page and next to that I want you to write “My Forgiveness List”
Then I want you to write down every single thing that is in your head. From emptying the cat litter to your date with the super hunk next Friday. Write down EVERY-thing! Even if it seems too small, write it down!
When you have emptied your brain . I want you to take ten deep breaths here (really fill your lungs deep!) and with each breath I want you to say
“I Release You.”
“I Forgive You.”
“I Love You.”
Say each word out loud with your hand over your heart knowing that the words are working even if you don’t really believe it right away. “Fake it till you make it” as they say.
I know it must feel silly to forgive yourself for things like doing laundry or being cut off in traffic by an impatient motorist but know that what you are doing is allowing your body to release expectation and blame and ultimately stress on the tiniest of levels and this opens the doorway wide for self compassion to take root.
This simple process can be super healing and is a great way to start or finish your day. Please note that this is something that takes practice so I want you to try this exercise over the course of five days. If you stick to it
(try it for a month for amazing results!) you will begin to notice subtle shifts in your mindset that can lead to higher levels of energy and increased abundance in all areas of your life.
